The first six weeks of a new school year, this year truly a celebration. The last year the grades were all failing but this year there are A's & B's, and all passing grades and comments from teachers, "she is a delight to teach"...that is the power of mentoring a student

Welcome to Communities In Schools of Rutherford County.
Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. We believe that every student deserves a one on one relationship with a caring adult, a healthy start and a healthy future, a safe place to live and grow, a chance to give back to peers and their community and a marketable skill to use upon graduation. 
CISRC is an affiliate of Communities In Schools of North Carolina. 

Communities In Schools of Rutherford County partners with the public schools of Rutherford County in providing services to ensure the success of students. THis is accomplished with the support of volunteers and additional partners from the community.
